Program Information

The Hirayama Cheer & Spirit Program is open to all students in Grades 3-6. Students will have the opportunity to participate in one of three squads:

• Competition Cheer: Hot Shots (Grades 4-6)
  Competition Cheer members participate at home football and basketball games, Clovis South Elementary Night Football Game, Clovis South Spirit Night, and local cheer competitions.
• Competition Pep: Sparkettes (Grades 4-6)
  Competition Pep members participate at home football and basketball games, Clovis South Elementary Night Football Game, Clovis South Spirit Night, and local cheer competitions.
• Game Cheer: Flames (Grades 3-6)
  Game Cheer members cheer at home football and basketball games, Clovis South Elementary Night Football Game, and Clovis South Spirit Night.

Tryouts are held in the spring to place students on the appropriate squad. We encourage all interested students to participate and be part of the excitement, energy, and tradition of Hirayama Pep & Cheer!
